Amron Architectural – using Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) to maintain a competitive advantage.
Amron Architectural provides the architectural and interior design market with creative metal solutions.
In 2023, Amron commissioned Blue Marble to undertake life cycle assessments and produce EPDs for five products within its range of mesh ceiling panels.
The EPDs were completed in accordance with EN 15804+A2 and third-party verified in accordance with ISO 14025.
Amron had previously faced competition, losing out on a business opportunity to a competitor, due to not yet having produced EPDs. Blue Marble provided an efficient solution to this by producing a range of EPDs covering a broad product range, all completed to the highest standards for life cycle assessment and verification.
Amron’s EPDs are valid for five years, and cover the following key products:
- AC100 Exposed T-Grid, Mesh Only
- AC300 Hook-on, Concealed Grid; AC320 Slim Line, Hock-on Rafts
- AC400 Bespoke Rafts
- AC500 Cloud System – Exposed T-Grid
- AC700 Lay on Linear Beam / bandraster
“Our team takes sustainability very seriously and we are committed to making sure we are helping to reduce the environmental impact of our products, this in turn assures our customers when making purchasing decisions on our ceiling systems. With the services and support from Blue Marble, they have helped us achieve this.” – Jonathan Reed, Managing Director
